Project Graduation

Dear Parents:
Graduation Ceremonies for the
Class of 2012 will be held on Friday, June 1, 2012. Later that evening the seniors will celebrate Project
Graduation 2012, continuing a
tradition that began twenty-two years ago with the Class of 1990. Project Graduation takes place in the school and is a supervised,
substance-free party for graduating seniors. Students arrive before 11:30PM on Friday night and may not
leave before 5:00AM on Saturday morning.
The event provides graduating seniors with the opportunity to be together
one last time with classmates, faculty and friends in a safe and entertaining
environment.
Throughout the night there
will be food/beverages, live entertainment, group activities and plenty of
fun. Parents, in conjunction with
the senior class and school administration, organize Project Graduation. The
primary vehicle to raise money for the event is a raffle with cash prizes to
cover the cost of the event. Without
your support activities and entertainment for the evening will need to be
scaled back or cancelled.
You will receive in the mail two $25 raffle
tickets to support Project Graduation 2012 and we are asking each family to purchase one raffle
ticket and sell the other to a relative, friend, or co-worker. Your child(ren) and their friends
could take a chance as well. All
proceeds from the raffle go directly to cover the costs of the event. Checks should be made payable to Albertus
Magnus Project Graduation and should be returned to the main office
as soon as possible. Parent
support of Project Graduation is
critical to our success. Please
support this worthwhile event!
We are also in need of
chaperones for two-hour shifts during the night to supervise activities. Traditionally, the Junior Class
(Class of 2013) parents act as chaperones; however, we encourage all parents of
underclassmen to become involved.

support of Project Graduation you
will ensure that this important tradition will continue for many years to come.

Please note: All ALUMNI, FRIENDS, and PARENTS who would like to take more raffle chances, may download Project Graduation 2012 tickets in a pdf file. Our CASH PRIZES are: 1st Prize - $750, 2nd Prize - $500, 3rd Prize - $250! (They are the same size as the tickets which were mailed out.)
