Performing Arts
Albertus Magnus has a vibrant performing arts program, involving a broad and diverse group of our students. Every year, the school hosts a Christmas and spring concert, and a fall and spring musical where students' talents are showcased. Our students have also performed at significant events such as Rockland County Naturalization ceremonies.
The Albertus Friends of the Performing Arts group was established in order to support the Performing Arts at Albertus Magnus. AFPA holds a variety of fundraisers throughout the year. Click on the AFPA link for information on ways to help and current fundraisers.

On Friday, April 27th, more than 20 AMHS music students participated in a NYSSMA (New York State School Music Association) Festival at Kingston High School. The Mission of the New York State School Music Association (NYSSMA®) is to advocate for and improve music education across New York State by promoting and producing appropriate activities and programs for its membership and students in member school music programs. Many students sung/played solos, and for the first time Veritas was adjudicated and received a perfect score. I am so proud of the musical progress of our students, and look forward to working with them to reach new heights in the coming years.
